ReZoom Lens

Serving Beverly Hills, Burbank, Pasadena & Los Angeles, California

ReZoom Lenses are multifocal IOLs that are designed to provide patients with more freedom from glasses or contacts.  Unlike other multifocal IOLs, ReZoom Lenses take into account the amount of time you spend focusing objects at different distances and lighting.

ReZoom IOLs can be used to correct:

  • Cataracts
  • Nearsightedness
  • Farsightedness
  • Presbyopia
  • Astigmatism

During your ReZoom cataract surgery, you will be awake.  The eye surgeon will remove your clouded, cataract lens and replace it with the ReZoom IOL.  After the procedure, you will be able to see more objects in focus and perform more tasks than traditional monofocal IOLs.

In the past, monofocal IOLs would allow you to perform a variety of tasks, but you would still be required to wear glasses or contacts in order to see or do what you wanted.  ReZoom IOLs are able to provide you with the ability to see more and take part in more activities without the assistance of glasses or contacts.

During cataract surgery, usually only one eye is fitted with the ReZoom lens.  After this eye heals, and you are used to the ReZoom IOL, you will be able to have the other eye fitted with a ReZoom IOL.

Once you are equipped with your clear, cataract-free, ReZoom IOLs, you will be able to see many objects that cataracts prevented you from seeing.  ReZoom IOLs will never develop cataracts, so you will never have to replace them.
