verisyseThe Verisyse Lens is a type of intraocular lens implant designed to help correct vision in patients who cannot be successfully treated with Custom LASIK. Verisyse may be recommended by your doctor if your nearsightedness is between 5.0 to -20.0 diopters. Other qualifying factors for this procedure include:

  • Healthy eyes with no eye disease
  • Stable prescription for at least 6 months
  • No iris, pupil, or corneal abnormality
  • Not pregnant or nursing

After administration of local anesthetic, the Verisyse lens is placed in front of the iris during an outpatient procedure that lasts only about 30 minutes. Successful procedures allow patients to focus clearly almost immediately!
